A Bedtime Story...

Can you believe we spend around one third of our lives sleeping? We think this totally warrants a stylish bed (or cot) for your little slumber sloth. All in the name of good health and science of course! Which is exactly why we have fallen hard for the lovely range from Bedtime...

No matter how old your child is (or how much they actually sleep), the sleeping vessel you choose for them will become the visual anchor of their room… so it’s important to pick a gooden’.

Right now we are loving the beautiful collection of timber and metal cots from Bedtime, which have clearly all been designed with both style and safety in mind. It’s difficult to pick a favourite, but it is hard to go past the Woody Greywash Cot and matching 4 Drawer Dresser pictured below.

But if it is a big kid you are catering for how can you deny them the right of passage of sleeping in a set of bunkbeds. Bedtime’s metal bunk beds are crafted from super-strong steel and will slip into any interior space. We have our eye on the Loft White!

If you’re vibing the timber look a little more, we love the simple and clean lines of the Soho White Bunk Bed as shown here.

Well you wouldn’t read about it, but all this talk of Bedtime has made us rather sleepy. We’re off to dream about a new bed from our friends at Bedtime. How about you? You can find their full range over on the Bedtime website.

The designs are beautiful, modern, and unique children's bedroom decor items... and the best news is it is now available in Australia exclusively through Hey Little!

A graphic designer by profession and a crafter and maker by passion, Born On Monday master mind, Miriam Altamira loves to create! "Since my early years in college all my graphic design projects were accompanied by something created by hand, either painted or screen printed, sewed or bound."

Then 10 years ago, she found out her best friend was expecting a baby. "I spent days thinking what would be the best, most thoughtful gift a new mom would need and appreciate. Something it could use from the very first day of his or her life and grow with it, something that could be used for many years and yet so unique and beautifully designed that could be part of priceless memories for both, baby and mother... That's how I carefully created my first baby blanket."

Miriam now spends her days filling the homes and hearts of little ones with gorgeous blankets and heirlooms. 'Born On Monday' pieces are the perfect gifts for anyone about to become a parent, or that something special for your and your little on to treasure for years to come.
